Cuban actor of great success in television telenovelas (soap operas) and films. He was born in the city of Holguín, province of Oriente in Cuba. (The Oriente province no longer exists and Holguín was officially declared a province in recent years).

His parents were Idelfonso Moro and Margot Rueda whose marriage had produced three children, Frank, Fernando and Flor.
